1. Scope of application
LIDERKIT offers a limited warranty of two (2) years from the date of delivery of the product to the end customer, covering manufacturing or material defects in internally manufactured components. Components added to the final unit that are not manufactured in-house are excluded.
2. Coverage
LIDERKIT will cover the costs related to the labour required for the repair, materials and spare parts, as well as the shipment of defective or replacement parts.
On the other hand, indirect costs, such as travel expenses or removal of the product, or economic losses resulting from the failure of the product will not be considered under warranty.
3. Claim procedure
In order to lodge a complaint, the customer must notify the defect, providing sufficient evidence, such as photographs, videos or documents that allow the damage to be assessed. The repair or replacement of the part shall be subject to prior approval of the Quality Department. Once the notification has been received, the company undertakes to issue a response, indicating (if necessary) the procedure to be followed.
4. LIDERKIT’s rights
LIDERKIT reserves the exclusive right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether to repair the defective part, replace it with a new or reconditioned part, or offer a proportional reduction in the price of the product. Repair or replacement of defective parts will not extend the original warranty period of the product.
5. Exceptions
The warranty does not apply in cases of misuse or lack of maintenance, damage caused by negligence, overloading or unintended use. It shall also be void if parts have been modified without the prior written consent of LIDERKIT.
Furthermore, it shall not be valid if the components have not been installed in accordance with the technical instructions provided by the company. Damage due to natural wear and tear caused by normal use of the product is also excluded.
6. Limitations of liability
LIDERKIT shall not be liable for damages caused by third party components not manufactured or supplied by the company, nor for economic losses or indirect damages resulting from the failure of the product. LIDERKIT won’t pay a repair under warranty when the amount is equal or higher than the original price.
