Liderkit is eco-friendly. And, to help the environment, the R & D Department (Research and Development) is involved in the project «Transfrigo», with environmental concern as key motivation.
To develop this project, we pursue a weight reduction in our isothermal bodies. Firstly, we study the feasibility of an insulating panel 30 mm thick for refrigerator, and then, an insulating panel 50 mm thick for reinforced models. With these features, although reducing weight, efficiency and thermal requirements will not be compromised. Less weight in body means less consumption, and hence, a less polluting vehicle.
In addition to this, recyclable materials are used.Aimed at achieving a Circular Economy, this project pretends to solve current recyclability challenges with material used in insulating panels for refrigerated bodies.
Materials used range from natural fibres, non-Newtonian fluids with low pollutant load to non-polluting Aerogels.
