The Sustainable Development Goals are intended to create a set of global goals related to environmental, political and economic challenges. These are divided into 17 areas, which are interrelated, so that the commitments made can be responded to and the different problems facing the world can be addressed.
All organizations are invited to identify and align with the SDGs, committing to the execution of actions that promote the achievement of the goals established in the 2030 Agenda.
Benefits of managing and reporting on sustainability:
- It improves the organization’s reputation, facilitating access to new markets and generating greater loyalty.
- It provides a transparent view of the organization’s performance and impacts.
- It improves the relationship with the different interest groups.
- It allows the identification of the opportunities and risks that the organization faces.
- It facilitates the acquisition of investments and aid by aligning with the objectives of investors and administration.
- It allows observing the relationship between the financial and non-financial aspects of the organization.
