Carbon footprint

The Carbon Footprint represents the calculation of GHG emissions associated with organizations, events or activities, or the life cycle of a product, to determine its contribution to climate change, expressed in equivalent tons of CO2.

Benefits of Carbon Footprint Verification:

  • Positive impact on the environmental image of the organization, demonstrating its commitment to fight against climate change.
  • Control of emissions generated and emission sources, which allows effective measures to be taken to reduce climate change and to control and identify opportunities for cost savings and access opportunities to new markets.
  • Responds to the new demands of clients and investors, regarding the environmental commitments they expect from their suppliers, offering public, truthful and reliable information, in a market that preferentially values the most sustainable companies and products.
  • Reduces operating costs as it improves energy efficiency.
