Efficiency Certificate of Photocatalytic Product

Given by Iberian Association of Photocatalysis (AIF), this certificate recognizes that Liderkit provides a unique solution on the market to guarantee safe transport based on the test carried out on one panel produced by Liderkit, where it is proven that the polyester made with the photocatalytic formulation has self-cleaning and atmospheric decontamination properties.

The test has been carried out using a polyester fibre manufactured by Liderkit with a photocatalytic coating which is activated by the incidence of solar or artificial ultraviolet light, by lamps. This coating is applied in polyester manufacturing process, and it is firmly adhered, complementing the panel essential properties for bodies, such as durability and resistance in the layer which is exposed to ambient conditions.

These tests are defined as:

• Evaluation of the photocatalytic activity in the degradation of nitric oxide (NOx): Norm ISO 22197-1.
• Evaluation of self-cleaning properties of photocatalytic materials: ISO 27488 standard.
• Evaluation of antiviral biocide efficiency: ISO 18061 standard.

The polyester with a photocatalytic coating has self-cleaning properties, eliminates Nox in the air, and achieves antiviral effect on the face which treatment has been applied. Therefore, its application is intended to:

• Interior of our bodies, because it allows us to keep the interior clean of virus and bacteria, and automatically purify the air inside of body.
• The exterior, exposed to solar radiation; our panels contribute to reduce NOx (polluting gases generated by combustion vehicles) from atmosphere.
