For the development of decontaminating panels for the automotive industry by means of heterogeneous photocatalysis.

The panels developed as a result of the project allow a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) by reducing the weight of the body due to the replacement of heavy materials with lighter polymeric ones.

Use of photocatalytic materials capable, through advanced oxidation processes, of decomposing and eliminating NOx particles from atmosphere. Through the same photocatalytic processes, the panels have bactericidal properties inside the body, favouring conservation and non-contamination of the transport products.

All this makes the bodies manufactured with this technology decontaminating elements for greenhouse gases on the outside and highly disinfected and clean interiors on the inside.
