Liderkit develops a new revolutionary model of isothermal box

24 Jun 2016 | News, New products

A group of specialists from Liderkit, made up of different members of the Isothermal Division and Technical Office, have developed a new model of isothermal box, which counts on a reduced assembly time and new design. This product, which started to be developed in June 2015, will be released this month, just one year after the first works on the project.

After the success in the US and New Zealand, the aim of this re-styling is to make assembly easier, both in manufacturing and mounting the kits. In this regard, the revolutionary concept of this innovation now allows assembling the product and finishing this process just in one day; since this new system implies the productive process is continuous, without waiting time.

After carrying out different assembly and waterproof tests, we tried to innovate creating a new systemof profiles for this brand-new model of isothermal box. We have developed a system of“2 pieces”:the interior profile, as a functional profile to work with, which will be used for the assembly and the coupling of the box and as housing for the wiring; and the exterior profile, as a trim, will make clip with the previous one and will be a finishing profile.

Optimization of the assembly process

Since 2008, Liderkit has used aluminium profiles for its isothermal boxes. However, we have undertaken this project with the aim of optimizing the assembly process, so that we could expand the market to new customers and keep loyalty of the current ones.

Another advantage derived from the researching on the isothermal boxes is that it gives the opportunity to keep innovating for the close future and implementing more improvements.
