Retrospective 2023: a year marked by news, sustainability and recognitions

2023 turned out to be a year of challenges for Liderkit, who did not hesitate to look for solutions and new developments to improve its product.

There is a lot of news that the company has transmitted throughout the year, especially highlighting the recognitions of the business trajectory, the increase in production, the continuous investment in R+D and the involvement of all the professionals who make up Liderkit.

Recognition for innovation and effort

During the year 2023, Liderkit has been awarded in two occasions. The award for Excellence in Andalusian SMEs in the category of industries, by CaixaBank and Joly Group, recognises the evolution of the business since its foundation more than three decades ago and the constant investment in R+D.

In addition, the Undertake & Innovate Award given by the Jaén Provincial Council highlights Miguel Peragón Espinosa and his company Liderkit for their important effort in the leading company in the sector and the business trajectory.

Increased production and distribution

In recent years, Liderkit has devoted huge invested in increasing a constant production. More and more bodies are sent as kits, with customers appreciating the simple assembly and high quality of the products. At the same time, the shipment of bodies assembled at the company’s facilities has also increased, due to the fact that its professional workers carry out the assembly quickly, efficiently and with quality guarantees.

At the beginning of the year, the company’s 10,000th isothermal was sold. So far, more than 2,000 isothermal bodies have been shipped in 2023. For the third consecutive year, sales have increased considerably. One of the biggest achievements was that, in the middle of the year, the company managed to manufacture and assemble 30 trailers in less than two months.

In addition, in 2023 we achieved presence in several more countries, in addition to the more than 60 where or bodies are already running.

The demand is increasing, so the Liderkit technical team has set to work on the design of a new curtainsider/semicurtainsider model that is in the final phase of its development, giving the last adjustments to the mechanism developed.

At the same time, at the beginning of the year, the company launched its new website, which is more intuitive and adapted to its corporate image. At the same time, Liderkit’s customers and followers were notified that the company is developing an online store where customers can order and buy their spare parts.

Respecting the environment

2023 has been, without any doubt, the most successful in terms of environmental issues. It began with the incorporation of solar panels that have recently been put into operation.

In terms of materials, the R+D department had been looking for sustainable bodies for some time. That is why the most sustainable model in the Liderkit catalogue has been launched. The polyester manufactured by the company itself can include a photocatalytic coating which, activated by the incidence of ultraviolet light, decontaminates the air in its path and acquires self-cleaning properties.

In addition, the application of Ecopanels, manufactured with recycled material from discarded body panels, is under development. These are very resistant panels which are also durable and environmentally friendly.

These are not the only “green” panels, it has been confirmed that Liderkit’s polyester is made from a resin based on PET bottles that have been recycled. This resin provides strength and sustainability to the body kit. At the same time, the production of panels following the same procedure is under study, expecting to be announced in the coming year.

In terms of certifications, in the middle of the year the company received its SDG and Circular Goal certificates by EQA that shows its commitment to the environment. To demonstrate its interest in achieving a more sustainable activity, Liderkit verified its Carbon Footprint, showing that its environmental impact is lower than most companies in the sector.

International Trade Agreements

Thanks to the company’s participation in Solutrans, which took place in Lyon (France) in November, Liderkit’s management and sales team achieved to sign a series of promising commercial agreements, which portraits a successful year 2024 for the company both nationally and internationally.

It should be noted that there are several customers who have trusted Liderkit to exhibit their bodies at different international trade shows. They showed the different models, options and accessories manufactured by the leading company in the sector, each body is a “tailor-made suit”. At the same time, the company has shown the prototype of a new model they are working on in terms of manufacturing and transport.

Therefore, 2023 promised to be a challenge at a professional level at Liderkit, which has been successfully overcome. Once again, Liderkit team thanks its customers for their trust. For next year, the company assures that it will start with great news and advances that professionals in the sector will value positively.
